Focus

Education / Academic systems

The problem

Students and staff are forced to juggle learning systems, schedules, deadlines, modules and workload information across fragmented tools. The result is a constant sense of drift: important tasks are harder to locate, trends are harder to see, and academic planning becomes reactive instead of intentional.

The system

Academiq unifies academic operations into a single working environment for the student. It combines course information, timelines, analytics, communication and AI-assisted support so that planning, execution, and reflection happen in the same place.

Shared deliberately. Read-only by design.

Owners choose which resources to share and can revoke access. Public views do not grant ownership and omit editing, deletion, completion and mark-entry controls. Iris, Settings, Support and Announcements are not public preview views.

Inside Academiq / Extraction service

Medusa

Turning documents into structured academic data.

Academic information is often trapped inside PDFs, brochures, calendars and documents created for humans rather than software. The data needed to power a real academic system is present, but rarely standardized or machine-readable. Medusa parses raw academic documents and normalizes their information into a structured model that can be used by applications, workflows and services. It is the underlying layer that helps turn unstructured information into usable academic data.

  1. 01 / Upload

The student supplies academic documents in Academiq.

  2. 02 / Extract

Medusa processes the documents into structured academic information.

  3. 03 / Review

Academiq presents an unsaved module draft and extraction warnings for review and editing.

  4. 04 / Confirm

The student confirms before saving the module. Extraction alone does not save academic data.
